Soothe, Calm, and Uplift With Our Blossoms & Cedar Blend

Posted by Katie Zapotoczny on

We are SO excited to bring you our new line of essential oil blends, which includes both our full strength Blossoms & Cedar blend and our Pre-Diluted Blossoms & Cedar Roll On. The Blossoms & Cedar blend contains essential oils of tangerinecedarwood, and ylang ylang and is formulated to ground, calm, relax, soothe, uplift, and support emotional balance.* Sounds amazing, doesn't it? Read on to find out how it works.

This blend can help balance several of the energy centers- or chakras- within the body. Located in various parts of the body, from the base of the spine to the crown of the head, chakras can be thought of as "energy points or channels that give life and vitality" When the energy in a particular chakra is blocked, it can surface as a physical and/or emotional issue. However, when you bring energy in the chakra back into balance, the physical and emotional issues can dissipate more easily.

Essential oils emanate different vibrational frequencies, just as the chakras do. So when an oil matches the natural frequency of a chakra, it "tunes" it when it's out of balance, helping to bring harmony to the body. Tangerine essential oil has a warm, citrusy aroma. This oil is very uplifting and can promote relaxation and reduce nervous tension; it also has a calming, centering effect.* With regard to the chakras, it helps to open the sacral, or second, chakra, which is responsible for intimacy, emotions, sexuality, and creativity.

Cedarwood essential oil is known for its ability to reduce tension and stress.* This essential oil can also help open blockages in the the root (or first) chakra, the "foundational" chakra that helps you to feel grounded and supported. Keeping this first chakra open is especially important, as blockages in lower chakras can lead to imbalances in other chakras. The feelings of safety and security that can arise from using this oil can help open the heart chakra as well. As its name implies, the heart chakra is what allows us to be open to giving and receiving love and also helps one to heal from sadness.

With a name that means "flower of flowers," ylang ylang has a sweet, floral aroma. Like tangerine essential oil, ylang ylang can help open and balance the sacral chakra, and it can be used to bring balance to the heart chakra as well.

The oils in our Blossoms & Cedar blend work together to balance your root, sacral, and heart chakras, allowing you to feel grounded, calm, and relaxed.*

Caution: Essential oils are highly concentrated and should be diluted with a carrier oil before applying them on the skin. Test on a small area, and wait at least 24 hours before applying to larger areas of the body.
